Role of a First Aider
The role of an Emergency First Aider is critical as they are first person dealing with the casualty. So for that reason delegates during the course are put through a variety of possible emergency scenarios whilst given enough practice to build up their first aid skills and knowledge. If they are to deal with a real life emergency the aim is that they don’t get stuck and be confident to assist the casualty upon arrival of professional medical support.
Our First Aid trainers all come from different backgrounds such as Professional Medic, Ex-Military, Mountain Rescue and Industry. So they are able to transfer their experiences into the delivery of the course and give valuable advice of the do’s and don’ts when dealing with casualties, but also gives the delegates the opportunity to ask any questions they may have.
Successful completion of this course delegates are provided with a Level 3 Emergency First Aid certificate through our accredited partner Qualsafe. Qualsafe are one of the largest Ofqual recognised Awarding Organisations in the UK with a team of industry specialists who have created a range qualifications that are included on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
