Our Manual Handling Training Course has been designed for delegates who are responsible of lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving objects as part of their role. According to HSE 18% common workplace injuries are due to handling, lifting or carrying hence it is vital that correct procedures taught to prevent development of long-term workplace injuries.

Who should attend
This course is open to anyone.
No prior training is required, and this training is not specific to a particular industry. Workplaces need to have nominated first aiders for health and safety, but First Aid can be used at work, at home and in the community.
Manual Handling is one of our popular courses having delivered it to over 3000 delegates with 98% highly recommending this course. Delegates are provided with a Manual Handling book, whilst getting the opportunity to practice their manual handling techniques with the props we have. The aim is to ensure delegates are fully aware and can identify good and bad manual handling techniques.
Our Manual Handling trainers all come from different backgrounds such as Professional Medic, Ex-Military, Mountain Rescue, Industry and are very educated with certificates in NEBOSH, IOSH, First Aid etc. With their knowledge and experience in this field they are able to share their experienced into the delivery of the course and give valuable advice of the do’s and don’ts.
Next Steps
After completing the Emergency First Aid Training course, it is helpful to take another First Aid course, such as Mental Health First Aid or First Aid at Work, to gain fuller knowledge and skills. Delegates who complete these course are also provided with a Manual Handling certificate. We also deliver a Manual Handling Train the Trainer course which teaches delegates to be able teach correct procedures if identified at workplaces.

Training for individual delegates takes place at our head office. For groups of 12, we can provide training at your workplace.
