Course length and further details
The course is run over 2 weeks which at the end delegates are tested and assessed on units NG1 and NG2. The NG1 is a scenario based open book exam specifically assessing delegates on the Management of Health & Safety (Element 1 to Element 4). And the NG2 is where delegates have to complete the components of a general risk assessment after the NG1.
We try to make this course interactive as possible by combining both theory with practical elements. However as this is a Level 3 course equivalent to A levels there is a lot of information which must be covered during the theory. Delegates are provided with work books, classroom questions and homework during the course to build and familiarise them with the assessments of the 2 units.
Our NEBOSH trainer Mike is a Grad IOSH not only that Mike is the health & officer at PLT Training, part time paramedic and specialist in the First Aid and H&S field. Mikes extensive knowledge and experience in the delivery of this course hugely benefits delegates preparing them for the assessments.
Successful completion and passing of both units delegates are provided with a NEBOSH National Certificate H&S. However if you pass one unit i.e. NG2, but fail the NG1 then you have within 5 years of passing NG2 to retake the exam in order to obtain the full qualification.
